Our recorder players will learn to make music together as well as with percussion instruments and piano accompaniment. They will develop their sequential memory and basic reading skills. We have lots of fun whilst learning such important and valuable skills. The recorder is a fantastic first instrument for the young child and a wonderful introduction to all wind instruments. During our Pre-School recorder programme we focus on the left-right coordination and also reading basic note values and note names in the treble clef. Playing recorder develops a sense of musicianship and the beginning steps of formal music training. Children will also develop finger coordination, articulation and breath control. Come and join our recorder groups. We have lots of fun whilst learning!
